The InRow ACRD101S indoor direct expansion cooling unit efficiently removes heat from neighboring racks, providing cooling for low to medium heat density applications including network closets and small/medium data centers. The system has been optimized to use R32 low-GWP refrigerant. The small outdoor condensing unit (ACCU100) houses a variable capacity compressor and E-coated microchannel coil, enabling exceptional energy efficiency and corrosion resistance. This architecture also minimizes the indoor sound level, ideal for cooling IT equipment near office spaces. The InRow cooling system supports up to 120m (394ft) long and up to 30m (98ft) vertical piping between the indoor. And outdoor units maximizing installation flexibility. Additionally, the system provides reliable year-round operation from -15C/5F up to 46C/115F outdoor temperature and down to -40C/-40F with the optional low ambient kits. An optional, field-installed automatic transfer switch (ATS) increases cooling system resiliency by supporting redundant power feeds (indoor ACAC10059, outdoor ACAC10060). Four high-efficiency, variable speed EC axial fans ensure even air distribution across the heat exchanger. The unit can be purchased with factory-installed heaters and an electrode humidifier for complete temperature and humidity control (model ACRD101P). Internal and rack-mounted sensors allow the advanced controller to respond in real-time to environmental changes ensuring IT equipment receives the correct amount of air at the desired temperature. A containment-mounted pressure differential sensor (ACAC22000) is available to support different control methodologies. Multiple InRow units communicate with each other to maximize system efficiency, resiliency and temperature stability. The unit is remotely accessible via a variety of protocols, making it easy to integrate into BMS, DCIM and EPMS platforms.
